Nicola Sweeting
Retail Assistant
Nicola joined the team in 2025 and covers Saturdays and occasional shifts.
Val Whyte
Development Officer
Val is the Development Officer for the Alloa Hub and manages a small team of staff and around 10 volunteers. Val is from the local area and is delighted to see the continued increase in visitors from around the world to the area.
Michelle Campbell
Volunteer Support
Michelle joined the team in 2024 and supports our young volunteers and runs many of our holiday classes.
Board Members
We have a strong board of volunteer trustees who manage the strategic direction of the charity as well as its finances. The board consists of well-known local people with a strong set of valued skills.
Elspeth King
Elspeth has been a director of a community benefit society, and was one of the stitchers of the Clackmannanshire Tapestry
Steve Mackenzie
Steve operates Real World Cycling and is passionate about the area’s active travel routes.
William Marlin
Local Business owner of 123v and member of Discover Clackmannanshire
Bradley Pow
Bradley is a designer and has helped prepare a number of videos and the signage outside the venue.
Diane Brown
Diane is the Manager of Alloa First and has decades of experience running events and supporting businesses.
Anthea Coulter
Anthea is a leading expert on the third sector and funding.
Work placements
We support work placements training up to learn new skills and build confidence and work closely with local employability providers to help them make the successful transition to careers.
