Thursday Club and Clackmannanshire Access Panel

The Alloa Hub hosts popular regular activities and groups that provide vital peer support and advocacy to local residents in Clackmannanshire.

The Thursday Club at Alloa Hub

Started after the pandemic, the Thursday Club is a regular weekly gathering for local people from all walks of life, including unpaid carers.

Members of the Thursday Club design their own varied programme of activities, including:

  • Creative arts and craft sessions

  • Guest speakers and community talks

  • Charity coffee mornings (complete with home baking!)

When to visit: Pop along any Thursday between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM, or contact Val at val@alloahub.co.uk for more details.

Clackmannanshire Access Panel

The Clackmannanshire Access Panel is a dedicated group of volunteers working to promote the voices of disabled people across the county. They campaign for improved local transport, equal access to public spaces and buildings, and ensure disabled residents are heard on key regional issues.

Meeting Details: The panel is a fully constituted group and meets on the third Tuesday of every month.
