Volunteering

Be part of something special! Join our team and volunteer at Alloa Hub to support local community projects, gain new skills, and connect with people across Clackmannanshire.

Retail and Daily Support Roles

The Hub offers rewarding retail opportunities for people of all ages, including those facing barriers to employment. Volunteers help with:

  • Greeting visitors and customer service

  • Tidying and maintaining the shop area

  • Stocktaking and inventory management

  • Setting up the workshop space for daily community groups

Heritage and Remote Volunteering

We offer roles for anyone with an interest in local history who wants to contribute to our mini-exhibitions. These opportunities can be completed remotely by people who are unable to visit the centre in person.

Visitor Information, Walking & Cycling

We are seeking enthusiasts to help share the best of our region. Roles include providing local visitor information, leading walking tours, and supporting active cycling initiatives.

Events, Family Support & Duke of Edinburgh

Our volunteers help run charitable events throughout the year, including our popular family learning sessions and the Thursday Club for older residents and carers. We also welcome young people looking to complete their Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) volunteer hours in a meaningful way.
